The female soccer

The female football club had been created first in the history in the end of nineteenth century in the homeland of game - in England. Almost each match of this club collected decent quantity of spectators. But the relation to female football was guarded already then in Foggy Albion. To drive a ball was forbidden to girls officially in 1912 at the same stadiums on which it was done by men's teams. And footwear was different at that time surely. There were no special shoes for playing football.

All changed two years later when Europe was shaken by the First World War. The men who had left on front couldn't forbid to wives, sisters and girlfriends after wearisome work for the army blessing entertaining themselves playing football. This sport continued to increase turns during post-war time. Already 10 thousand persons has come in 1917 in Preston to look at game of women's teams, and also the first international competitions have taken place three years later. But female football has been forbidden in 1921 in England again under that plausible excuse that is completely not ladies' sport. The interdiction kept long forty years this time.

The next splash in popularity of discipline has had for 1966 when the informal World championship has taken place in England. There were federations of female football after that in many countries of Europe, and the International European federation has been created three years later. The female league in Italy which has received the professional status has arisen several years later. All these events began to develop the new sport actively in Germany, Norway, Sweden, and USA.
